The ABC has been criticised after its reporter was bullied for asking Australian opposition leader Peter Dutton why Hezbollah had been designated a terror group.
It's hard to say who's more vile- Stuff for supporting genocide indirectly by refusing to take ads against genocide when they have taken pro-genocide ads, or the ABC for doing the same by punishing a reporter for asking the question of why a group that has never committed a terrorist act, which is totally legal in every free country with an independent foreign policy, is bizarrely classified as a terrorist group in Australia.
Of course, New Zealand is little better than Australia in that regard. The 28 August 2022 'case for renewal of the designation' of the self-defence wing of Hezbollah as a 'terrorist' group here- which Hipkins signed off on- bizarrely cites Hezbollah's firing on zionist outposts in the Shebaa Farms area which is recognized as part of Lebanon by Syria and Lebanon and every other free government worldwide -and which even 'israel' doesn't claim as legitimate 'israeli' territory- as evidence of continued 'terrorist' activities. By those absurd standards, the actions of Hezbollah currently in defending Lebanon on Lebanese territory from zionist invaders on the ground would also be 'terrorism'.

It’s a shame the media haven’t sought John Minto’s opinion more often on the atrocities and injustices enacted on the Palestinians by Israel. He was at the forefront of NZs anti-apartheid movement in the 80s so unlike the aforementioned presstitutes had been consistently principled for a long time.

Simon Court - what an idiot. Did Darfur, the Rwandan genocide, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the killing fields not happen? Or do we only care about those we designate as white, and white/western allies? (Oh wait, of course we do!) (Acknowledging that Jewish people were only given this designation once Europe had inflicted the Holocaust on them, and Israel became a "useful" state). These politicians are so uninformed with such power, it makes me sick.
Just a note, also, that Nasrallah's name is Sayyed Hassan rather than Nassan, and didn't they the cross border attacks on Oct 8? Or at least that's what I understood.
