Perfect, good riddance.

All these so called defense and trade agreements do nothing to preserve the sovereignty of a nation - they are designed to have the complete opposite effect and transform a nation into a submissive vassal state serving empire.

I am bemused by left-wing activists who "demand", "pressure" or "call for" the quasi-fascist colonialist regime to undertake certain actions that would put it in the same rank as progressive humanitarian governments. It won't happen unless there is some substantive force to back up those demands. Having said that, I see nothing wrong with the PSNA genocide hotline scheme. It is something that can happen regardless of how the colonial regime or the US or the State of Israel might feel about it. That might explain why these entities, which have smugly ignored all the moral "demands" made of the regime by the PSNA are reacting with outrage to the hotline.

As usual when you look at polititians posing for the cameras arround important issues like these they appear quite unmoved even smiling often its hard not to get the impression they,ve never seen any picture of events like people getting genocided in gaza and if they have it means litttle cause apparently the only footage they see comes from cnn or the like when theyre home an just kicked their shoes off !!So what do our intelligence agencies actually do ?? if not inform the gov of the day ?

Even though they've been called ''Intelligence'' agencies - this is misleading - they've been compromised and serve to protect the interests of empire.

Mick, Dayenu and Justice for Palestine have both spoken out against the hotline, and pointed out their worries about it and also how it differs from the work of the Hind Rajab Foundation. I agree with their assessment of it as a stunt worth criticising for likely unhelpful (if unintended) consequences.

Hello Tess. The hotline was big domestic news and I covered it with the most editorially worthy angle I could think of. Individual groups all have the right to their own particular focuses, praxis, etc and may not always agree, but that didn't interest me.

Exactly what unhelpful consequences?
